WEBINAR

AI in the notary's office: what works, what must not, what the law says.

Once a month, 30 minutes, free of charge. No sales pitch and no pricing slide: a run through the live system, one clear limit, and the legal position in order. Afterwards you know what works today and what does not — and can judge for yourself what that means for your practice.

DATE

The first date.

The first date will be announced shortly.

HOW TO GET THE DATE

Register now: you will receive the invitation with the date and the joining link as soon as the date is set. Nothing else follows — no newsletter, no phone call, no reminder sequence.

After that the webinar runs monthly. Anyone registered is notified of the following dates and can unsubscribe at any time.

AGENDA

Thirty minutes, three parts.

The structure is the same every month. What changes is the state of the system: whatever was added over the past month is shown in part one rather than asserted.

1

What AI can do in a notary's office today

One case runs through, on the demo system of the fictional practice Dr. Winter: reading documents, every value with its source passage in the original, draft and fee calculation, approval by the notary. On the live system, not on slides.

2

What it must not do

Establishing the parties' intent and advising them on the legal consequences are personal official duties of the notary (§ 17 BeurkG, the German Notarial Acts Act) and cannot be delegated. What follows for the interface: approval as a mandatory step, a written reason when rejecting — and why a system that guesses is useless in this setting.

3

What the law says

§ 203 StGB (professional secrecy under the German Criminal Code), § 26a BNotO (outsourcing under the Federal Notarial Code) and Article 50 of the EU AI Act apply at the same time and demand different things. Which requirement comes from which rule, what has to be technically demonstrable — and which question is still open. Orientation, not legal advice.

The last minutes belong to your questions. Anyone who would rather just listen does exactly that — attending commits you to nothing.

WHO IT IS FOR

For notaries and their teams.

Two groups sit in the same session because they operate the same interface, only from two sides of it. No prior knowledge of AI is required; nothing is assumed that is not explained in the session itself.

Notaries

You carry the official duty and the liability. The session therefore answers first where such a system stops: what it may prepare, what stays with you alone, and how you can tell in daily operation that the limit is being kept.

  • The limit set by § 17 BeurkG, shown in the interface
  • What your approval records, and what that record is worth
  • Which questions belong with the chamber of notaries before any rollout

Notarial clerks

You do the work this is about: retyping, chasing missing details, keeping deadlines in your head. The session shows on a real run which of those steps fall away, which remain — and which new ones appear, because a checked suggestion still wants checking.

  • The run from inbox to submission for approval
  • What a rejection with a written reason saves you
  • How long learning the system realistically takes

RECORDING

The session is recorded. Everyone registered receives the recording by email afterwards, including those who could not attend. That way the half hour is not a scheduling problem.

What is recorded is the presentation, the demo system and the presenter's voice, and nothing else. Attendee video, attendee names and spoken questions are not part of the recording.

TO BE CLEAR

What this webinar is not.

Both are stated here so that nobody spends half an hour on something they were not looking for.

NOT A SALES CALL

No selling in the session

There is no pricing slide and nothing to sign. It ends with an invitation to a demo — if you do not want one, you hear it once and that is that. Your address is used for this webinar and the recording, for nothing else.

NOT LEGAL ADVICE

No legal advice

Part 3 sets out which rules apply at the same time and what they demand of the technology. That is not advice on your case and does not replace it. Where a question is open — and one is — it is named as open rather than answered.

REGISTRATION

Register for the webinar.

The button opens a prepared email in your own email programme. You see exactly what you are sending before you send it — this page transmits nothing to a server.

Or write directly to pfliegensdoerfer@notarflow.eu

The subject line „Webinar-Anmeldung" is enough. Reply usually the same working day.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Before you register.

Do I have to switch my camera on?
No. Camera and microphone stay off if you prefer; questions can be typed. Attendee video and spoken questions are not part of the recording in any case.
Do I get the recording even if I cannot attend?
Yes. The recording goes to everyone registered, whether or not the date suited them. If you only want the recording, say so in the registration.
What happens to my email address?
It is used for the invitation, the joining link, the recording and the announcement of the following dates — for nothing else. No newsletter, no passing on. One line by email and the address is off the list again.
Can my whole team attend?
Yes, and that is the normal case: parts 1 and 2 address both sides of the desk. Put the number of attendees in the registration; one joining link is enough for the room.
Will I see real files?
No, and that is not a precaution taken for the session but the standing rule: what is shown is the demo system of the fictional practice Dr. Winter with invented cases. Real client data never appears in a presentation.
We are interested but have no half hour. Is there another way?
Yes: the training chapters show the same interface in sections of a few minutes, available at any time. And if you would rather see the system against your own questions, the demo is the shorter route.
